ಜನಸ್ಪಂದನ ನ್ಯೂಸ್, ಡೆಸ್ಕ್ : ಬಾಲಕಿಯೊಬ್ಬಳು 90 ಅಡಿಗಳಷ್ಟು ಎತ್ತರದ ಛತ್ತೀಸ್‌ಗಢದ ಬಸ್ತಾರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಚಿತ್ರಕೋಟೆ ಜಲಪಾತಕ್ಕೆ ಜಿಗಿದ ಆಘಾತಕಾರಿ ವೀಡಿಯೊ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೈರಲ್ ಆಗಿದೆ.
ಬಾಲಕಿ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಬಳಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಂದೆ-ತಾಯಿಗಳು ಬೈದಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಳು ಇಂತಹ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸುದೈವಶಾತ್ ಬಾಲಕಿ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬದುಕುಳಿದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
ಕಳೆದ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ಚಿತ್ರಕೂಟ ಚೌಕಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಜಿಗಿಯಲು ಜಲಪಾತದ ಅಂಚನ್ನು ತಲುಪುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಆಕೆ ಬಹಳ ಹೊತ್ತು ಜಲಪಾತದ ಸುತ್ತ ಅಲೆದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎಂದು ಎನ್‌ಡಿಟಿವಿ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಘಟನಾ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಜಿಗಿಯದಂತೆ ಅವಳನ್ನು ತಡೆದಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವುದೇ ಆತುರದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ಮನವೊಲಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರು, ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅವರ ಮನವಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸುಮಾರು 90 ಅಡಿಗಳಷ್ಟು ಎತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಜಿಗಿದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎಂದು ವರದಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರು ಬಾಲಕಿ ನೀರಿಗೆ ಹಾರುವುದನ್ನು ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೈರಲ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಘಟನಾ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ತನಿಖೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತನಿಖೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಬಳಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಾಲಕಿಯನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ತಂದೆ-ತಾಯಿಗಳು ಬೈದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಾಲಕಿ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಇದೀಗ ಬಾಲಕಿಯನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. Janaspandhan News, Desk : A shocking video of a girl jumping into the 90 feet high Chitrakot waterfall in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh has gone viral on social media.
It is said that the reason why the girl took such a decision was because her parents scolded her for using a mobile phone. Fortunately, the girl survived as she was floating in the water.
The incident took place in Chitrakoot Chowki area last Tuesday evening, NDTV reported that she wandered around the waterfall for a long time before reaching the edge of the waterfall to jump from the top.
Tourists and locals at the spot stopped her from jumping and tried to persuade her not to take any hasty decisions, but she ignored their pleas and jumped from a height of about 90 feet, the report said.
The bystanders shot a video of the girl jumping into the water and it went viral on social media. Police immediately reached the spot and started investigation. It is learned that the girl took this decision because her parents scolded her for using a mobile phone during the investigation. The girl has now been handed over to her family. (Agencies)
